Danielle Harms is an MFA candidate in creative writing at George Mason University. After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, she spent two years living abroad in South Korea and Hungary, where she taught English and took plenty of photos. Her photographs and writing have been previously published in newspapers, literary magazines, and online at harmsboone.org.

Alexandra is a junior at George Mason University majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. She particularly likes to write poetry and fiction, and to explore themes of identity, ethics, and mortality. As an amateur photographer, she enjoys taking images that subvert expectations of beauty and culture. She captured “Church 9th Ward New Orleans” while she was a disaster relief volunteer after Hurricane Katrina.

Amy Maddox holds a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in English from the University of Mary Washington. She is currently an Editor for Apropos Literary Journal. She recently judged the 2011 Virginia Writer’s Club Golden Nib Contest. In her free time she enjoys writing, photography, and spending time with her family. Jacob Oet is a senior at the University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio. Jacob’s poetry and images appear in Palooka Journal, Straylight Magazine, Moonshot Magazine, Petrichor Machine, and OVS Magazine among others. His awards include the 2011 Younkin-Rivera Poetry Prize and the 2011 Ohioana Robert Fox Award. Jacob’s first chapbook, Metamorphosis, is forthcoming in 2012 from Kattywompus Press. Student by choice, Jacob Oet is never sure which language he speaks. You may spot him in a park, forest or beach, with planted feet, arms stretched up and shaking in a breeze. But don’t let him see you; he likes to sing to strangers. He takes photos of snow, and hates winter.

Eric Vondy recently became an international award winning photographer when he won a British Columbia Interior Music Award for CD/DVD Artwork Design for his collaboration with Canadian musician Jude Davison on his album Outskirts of Eden. He is also the winner of the 2011 National Historic Landmarks Photo Contest.
